Frequently Asked Questions
You can reach out to us for a copy of our schedule at triumphdebate@gmail.com and we will send you the most updated and recent version.
Keep in mind that the Triumph Debate Camp schedule is continuously improving as we add additional staff members or guest speakers, make decisions regarding topics, and edit our curriculum to suit each labs needs depending on their experience.
For Lincoln Douglas, debaters will be informed of the camp topic one week prior to the start of camp and should familiarize themselves with the topic. Preparing debate cases/files is encouraged, but not required. Understanding the topic prior to going into camp will allow debaters to focus on skills and strategies, rather than finishing prep files.
For Policy Debate, our instructors will release our camps files ahead of camp so that students will have time to familiarize themselves with what research looks like on the topic.
As our camp is being held virtually, students only need to have a device to join Meets on, and a stable internet connection.
Students will also need to have a Google account, be able to access Google Drive, and have materials like paper and pens to take notes or compete in practice rounds.
